Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to visit the SGA website! I would
like to encourage you to visit the rest of our site to learn more about
Louisiana Technical College, T.H. Harris Campus.
The Student Government Association is working extremely hard to
better our campus for everyone. Here is our challenge. To
our current students: We challenge you to present ideas to us about
issues that are important to you; we also encourage you to help us with
the implementation and planning of our upcoming activities such as the
Halloween Costume Contest, the Thanksgiving Feast Dinner, our Christmas
Party, and annual Crawfish Boil. You don’t have long here, and the
time you do have is envied by many, so make the most of it and have no
regrets when you leave.
To our future students: We challenge you to stop by our campus,
take a tour, and witness the dedicated faculty and staff members who are
here working hard to do everything in their power to assist you in
choosing an ideal and rewarding career for yourself and your family.
It is the job of Student Government Association officials to not only
give attention to and try to cure the problems that may arise from day
to day, but to accomplish the set of goals that we put before you, the
student body. Your job is to hold us accountable for those goals that we
set and to also hold us accountable for the decisions we make on your
behalf. Feel free to contact any of us at any time. Our office is
located in the Business building near the Air Conditioning and
Refrigeration classrooms.
