WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF RECEIVING ARTICULATION CREDIT?

• The goal of articulation is to assist in creating a more coherent secondary-to-postsecondary transition process and reducing duplication of instructional efforts and costs associated with student mobility.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE ARTICULATION CREDIT?

• To receive articulated credit, students must enroll at a local Louisiana Technical College campus within 2 years of their high school graduation date.
• Earn a grade of “B” or higher in the high school course.

WHAT CAN I DO TO RECEIVE ARTICULATION CREDIT?

• Once enrolled at a local Louisiana Technical College campus, complete the “Intent to Articulate” form.

• Obtain copy of high school transcript and guidance counselor signature.
• Return all documentation to your local Louisiana Technical College student services officer.
